Tea „Althaus” makes its debut in Bulgaria

This happened at an official tea degustation in „Grand Hotel Sofia”, where was presented one of the creators of collection „Althaus” Ralf Janecki. He arrived in Bulgaria at the invitation of „Sofstok” Ltd. and personally presented to the guests the nosy drink. In this masterly activity activity helped him Georgi Bundev – manager hot drinks of „Sofstok” Ltd.

BRAZILIAN AND FRENCH ARE THE BEST BOTTOMS IN THE WORLD

In Parish finished the final of the world contest „Show me your „Sloggi” (well-known as contest of the best bottom in the world), organized by the youth line „Sloggi” of the famous giant for underwear and swimming suits „Triumph”. Winners became the 20-years-old Melanie Nunes Fronckowiak (Brazil) and the 27-years-old Saiba Bombote (France). Every one of them receives 15 000 EUR plus one-year advertising agreement with „Sloggi” and together with this an exclusive insurance of the precious behind.



The event conducted in the sport center in Paris “Club Quartier Latin” and it was lead by the legendary ex-presenter of „MTV” Ray Cox. In the extremely close contest participated 45 competitors from 26 countries of all over the world. The Bulgarian finalists – Biliana Yotovska and Martin Mednikarov presented them selves with dignity and eliminated the half of the participants, as they reached the semi final.
The jury was presided by the dazzling Adriana Karembeu – the top model with the longest legs in the world, and among the members distinguished the famous French astronaut from the European cosmic agency Paolo Nespoli who flied in the cosmos with underwear "Sloggi", the original painter Stan Murmur, the manager of the French edition of magazine "FHM" Lomig Guillo, Michael Reis from "Invista" (the company, that is owner of the material "Licra"), Thomas Herreiner – managing director of "Sloggi" and the last year winners of the final in Munich – our charming compatriot Kristina Dimitrova and the Romanian Andrei Andrei. During the show was showed the newest collection underwear and swimming suits of „Sloggi”, spring-summer 2009. The contest and the artistic program conducted at stage, especially built on the swimming pool of the elite sport club and the dressing-boxes and the inevitable interior attributes of the swimming halls were inventively used in the original scenography.
At the camera and the microphone of Lubomir Stoykov and the camera man Rumen Ganev stood Adriana Karembeu, the new winners Melanie Nunes Fronckowiak from Brazil and Saiba Bombote from France, the Bulgarian finalists Biliana Yotovska and Martin Mednikarov, Kristina Dimitrova etc. Similar interviews and reports you may expect in the online magazine “Fashion Lifestyle Magazine” and in the popular TV broadcast for style „Ogledala”.

“GOLDEN NEEDLE 2008” AWARD FOR EXCELLENT STUDENTS
* The most valuable fashion award in Bulgaria will be bestowed at a stylish ceremony

The most important achievements in Bulgarian fashion will be honored with the “Golden needle 2008” award at a brilliant ceremony in “Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan”. The stylish event will be held on 29th November 2008. For first time the bestowing of the award is organized by Academy for fashion, with presidents Donka Ganeva and prof. Lubomir Stoykov, and “Made in Bulgaria” program in the face of Adriana Tsaneva and Olga Uskova.
The 36-member jury, composed by representatives of the leading Bulgarian media, had already defined the new bearers of the high prize through electronic voting. At the gala spectacle “Golden needle 2008” the excellent students of Bulgarian fashion will present collections, made especially for the ceremony.
The result of voting of Bulgarian fashion and lifestyle journalists is categorical: proud owner of the valuable statuette in “Designer of the year” category is Alia Milusheva. The journalistic jury award two prizes in “Fashion house of the year” category – to “Markam” and to “Etere”. Moni Frances will take the high prize for fashion photography for second time as well as Julia Angelova – for fashion make-up. Milka Alexandrova – Buchi will receive “Golden needle” award in the category “Jewels (accessories)”, Biliana and Peter Pelov – “Bipone” will receive “Golden needle” in “The best young designer” category. Virginia Zdravkova is the winner in “Fashion spectacle” category with her “Lavazza” collection. The award for entire contribution unanimously will be received by Svetla Dimitrova – “Aries Unique”. Studio “Paola Apsi” will receive “Golden needle” special award by “Made in Bulgaria” program for its contribution to the Bulgarian self-confidence.
During the ceremony the special guests “Triumph”, “Nicowa“, “Miro”, “Gizia”, “Velmar” and leather designer Vasilis Ioannidis will show their collections,.
Special support of the event is given by “Our beautiful Bulgaria”, “SofStok”, “SIS Industries”, “Empire” hotel complex, “INA Trading”, “Etap”.

JUSTICE TRIUMPHS

Triumph for the justice promises the world leader in the production of women’s underwear “Triumph International”. Every year the Japanese head office of the brand “winks” with smile and imagination at its admirers, as it creates original bras, devoted to actual social problems. This year the change of the judicial system in Japan, planned for 2009, attracted the attention of the company. To quicken the social interest and to help the faster integration of the new system, “Тriumph” created Jury System Bra. It won’t be distributed in a mass, but it will be presented with collection spring-summer 2009 of the brand. The most noticeable element of Jury System Bra of “Triumph” are the cups that are inspired from the scale of the justice. They can be tightened with the help of the shoulder-straps and the chains at the back. Cups can be used as weighing pans that can be suspended by the straps and chain at the back.
The saturated gold color gives the model more authentic and impressive look, and the reversible black and white pads symbolize the guilt and the innocence.
The trim skirt is a part of the model and is made of the same silky material, from which the judicial togas are sewed. It can be worn as short mantle. The ribbon at the waist is inspired by the white scarves, worn by the women judges. From the back side of the pants are embroidered the Japanese characters for „equality”, to provoke the civil judicial responsibility.

The engagement of the brand to the art and more especially to the talents in the music found its expression in Bulgaria, and namely in the support of the talented pop idol Miro and his new album „Peace kept”.
At the special party collection autumn/winter 2008 was presented. The point of the fashion-show was the appearance of Elena Yoncheva in sheer white dress with flowers from the last collection of the Italian duo.

WOMEN, WHO RECOVERED BY CANCER, MARCHED WITH ITALIAN BRANDS

Three of the most beautiful „Miss Bulgaria” – Gergana Guncheva, Rositsa Ivanova and Julia Jurevich presented the newest collections of the leading Italian brands “Stefanel”, “Benetton” and “Glenfield” for autumn-winter 2008 - 2009. Together with them at the cat-walk passed eight women who recover from breast cancer.
One of the models was the wife of the Italian ambassador to Bulgaria N. Pr. Stefano Benazzo – Mrs. Dana Benazzo who through her participation sent her private message to the women to have medical examination regularly with an aim timely diagnostics of the illness.
The cat-walk was part of the collaborative campaign for prevention of cancer of the breast organized by Italian embassy and the world pharmaceutical leader “Astra Zeneca”.

TOM FORD CONQUERES CINEMA

Fashion designer Tom Ford revealed his new passion – cinema. He has already approved the actor’s composition for his first project as a director – “Lonely man”. The main roles are assigned to Colin Firth and to Julianne Moore, and the movie is adaptation by the novel of Christopher Isherwood.
Ford is classified at 12th place in the chart of the 49 men that were influenced mostly on the thinking of the strong sex.

Donatella Versace received the award „Superstar” of the “International organization of the fashion houses”. The top honors were bestowed to the fashion icon at the ceremony „The night of the stars”.
The name of the event isn’t accidental – whole galaxy of celebrities gathered to celebrate together with Donatella Versace. Among them distinguished Prince, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Balthazar Getty, all of them dressed in Versace toilets.
