my benetton supports young talents
Benetton – Bulgaria has challenged young Bulgarian talents. Students in Fashion from the National Academy of Art (II, III, IV course bachelors and I course master degree) under the direction of prof. Gredi Assa, took part in a competition called My Benetton. The young designers had the chance to create a real product and its entire image including an original presentation to the public. Along with the impetus to make students realizing their creative decisions, the competition tried to combine the creative and the commercial part of the product, which has to be sold.

The students have worked for a month with Benetton clothes under the direction of Iva Shatz, lecturer with the National Academy of Art.
In a special fashion event, the 42 participants presented their works, based on the topic. Among the members of the jury were Iliyana Alipieva, president of Delta Handel, official representative of Benetton to Bulgaria, prof. Gredi Assa, head of Fashion Department at the National Academy of Art, Iva Shatz, lecturer with the National Academy of Art, Milena Popova, editor-in-chief of Eva Magazine, Radost Draganova, TV host of Ogledala, Albena Atanasova, fashion editor in Standart daily, Assen Assenov, publisher of Edno Magazine.
