Markam Fashion expanded its franchised business in Romania, opening up one more shop on Friday, 24.10.08. The shop is located in the newest mall “Galeria Buzau” in one of the biggest Romanian cities – Buzau. Our brand offers to the local consumers designs from the new Winter 2008/09 collection, models of which were chosen for the grand finale of the trend fashion show during CPD fair in Dusseldorf in February this year. Four more franchised shops of Markam Fashion will be working by the end of 2009.

BILIANA AND MARTIN HAVE THE MOST ATTRACTIVE SLOGGI-ES IN BULGARIA

The BG-finalists of the “Show me your sloggi 2008” were chosen

Biliana Yotovska (23) from Sofia and Martin Mednikarov (19) from Varna have the most attractive sloggi-es in Bulgaria. This is the decision of the jury in the BG-final of the “Show me your sloggi 2008” competition, which took place for second year. Biliana and Martin will compete with representatives from all over the world during the international final which will be held in Paris on 12th of November. The big award includes 15 000 €, bum insurance and an advertising contract with sloggi.

Tania Konstantinova (23) and Radoslav Dimitrov (23) took the second place and Tania Stoilova (21) and Kiril Koev (22) took the third place.

Among the members of the jury, who appreciated the merits of the finalists were: Dora Black – general manager of “Triumph Bulgaria”, prof. Lubomir Stoykov, Rene Rozenberg – general manager of “Val” advertising agency, Moni Franses – fashion photographer, Kristina Dimitrova – winner of the “Show me your sloggi 2007 ” international competition, Petya Alexieva – advertising manager of radio “Fresh”, Kalina Kotseva - editor-in-chief of “Bliasak” magazine.

The sloggi-es presented themselves in three rounds – with UB jeans, with Sloggi Fun, Sloggi Colours and Sloggi light and with sloggi-underwear from fall-winter 2008-2009 collection. Their brilliant look which has impressed all the guests was due to “Luxor” fashion salons and “Max Factor” make up. The girls and the boys demonstrated enviable artistic skills, fascinating presence on stage and sense of humor, while answering the questions in second round. Break dancers from “Sleepwalkingz ” entertained the guests.

The winners have received their official invitations for the world final as well as fitness cards from “Athletic” clubs, where a special fitness program has been developed for their sloggi-es.

Among the guests who supported the BG-sloggi-es were Dim Dukov – a famous TV-host, Jana Jekova – Bulgarian designer, Megi Savova – organizer of beauty pageants, Olga Uskova – Russian Business Club, Denis Dimitrova – “Mini Miss”, young designers Nina Todorova, Antoaneta Dolkina etc.

According to the specialists it was only a question of time the favorite designer of Sarah Jessica Parker to orientate to this segment of the shoe industry.

Manolo Blahnik shares: “For a lady it is more difficult to look sexy, when she is with flat shoes. Few women possess this ability – I can remember only for Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn”.

Leading tendency for the new season is the return to the 70s that reflects mostly in the imposing of the stilettos and in the shape of the shoes.

The trendy colors are blue, lilac, red, and among the materials – leather of eel, patent leather and velvet.

With fashion exhibition and stylish party Sanoma Bliasak Bulgaria presented magazine Harper's BAZAAR at the Bulgarian market. More than 1000 guests enjoyed the fashion fairy-tale that tells the story of the magazine from its appearance till today. The models in the exhibition presented revolutionary design decisions for the last 140 years that had changed the life of million women in the world.

MAGAZINE HARPER'S BAZAAR IS ALREADY IN BULGARIA

The first issue of Harper's BAZAAR in Bulgaria will be accessible at 24th October 2008. This is the oldest, published without interruption, fashion magazine in the world. The edition appeared in 1867 in New York and it transforms in fashion almanac for millions of women in the world. Already 140 years the most loyal adviser of the woman helps her to be fashion, independent, communicative, high-educated and to live at full value. With the Bulgarian Harper's BAZAAR, the magazine is already edited in 30 countries in the world.

FLOWER CENTER “TILIA” OPENED DOORS

The biggest center for flowers „Tilia” opened doors and already welcomed its first guests. At the invitation of the owner of „Tilia” Tania Georgieva, especially for the event arrived the Netherland florist Johann Liher. He shared with the guests his experience of many years in the creation of beautiful decorations and demonstrated the most actual tendencies in the arranging of flowers. His artistic behavior and his fascinating workshop attracted the attention of all present guests. For the creation of the beautiful arrangements the Netherland florist uses dracaena, mixed conifers, erica, chrysanthemum, phalaenopsis, kalanchoe, sentpolia and begonia.

Especially for the opening of the new center „Tilia” arrived some trucks with flowers that transformed the event in scene of fairy and beauty. The beauty of the flowers was complement by live butterflies, given by the unique farm in Bulgaria “Butterfly”, as its owner Olga Uskova included in the organization of the event.

After the official dedication ceremony, for the good mood of the guests took cares Vasil Naidenov and the dance group of Neshka Robeva. Presenter of the event was Adriana Tsaneva – author of the program „Made in Bulgaria”.
