“KWIAT” CHOSE THEIR STAR

Geya Antonova (18) from Sofia is a winner in the competition “Become a model of Kwiat”. She got the possibility to make a photo session with the newest models sunglasses from collection 2008 of “Kwiat”, financial recompense at the rate of 500 levs, as also sunglasses “Kwiat Exclusive”, collection 2008, at the rate of 180 levs. At second place the jury classed Dimitar Stoyanov (18) from Sofia. He received sunglasses “Kwiat Limited Edition”, collection 2008 at rate of 140 levs. The third place took Anna Ivanova (21) from Sofia, and the prize for her is also sunglasses “Kwiat”, collection 2008, at rate of 110 levs. Elena Nosikova (18) from Asenovgrad was honored with special prize – sunglasses “Kwiat”. The big surprise that the jury presented to the next on the list of the winner is that all of them also will make a photo session with different trends sunglasses that “Kwiat” Ltd. present in Bulgaria.

Prizes received also three people from those who voted at the site WWW.KWIAT-BG.COM. The lot was balloted at 17 of April 2008 in the presence of notary Pirinka Petrova. These are Stefania Adamichina from Sofia, Vassil Mihailov from Dupnitsa and Desislava Ivanova from Sofia. Every one of them received sunglasses “Kwiat” collection 2008 at rate of 110 levs. The favorite of the audience is Janitsa Ranova, and her prize is sunglasses “Virginia by Kwiat” at rate of 250 levs.

1 146 girls and boys from all of the country joined in the competition “Become a model of Kwiat”. 27 from them were admitted to the final that was organized in Grand Hotel Sofia. The winners were defined from the jury in the following membership: Pavel Tsvetkov – president of “Kwiat” Ltd. and chairman of the jury, and among the rest of the members are prof. Lubomir Stoykov – president of the Academy of fashion, Kamen Valkanov – photographer, Gloria, Niki Kanchev, Martina Vachkova, Dim Dukov, Juliana Doncheva, Rumyana Marinova, Stoyan Apostolov – fashion agency “Next One”. They had the chance to meet personally the candidates for star glory and to obtain personal impressions for every one of them.

The classed at first place will make a photo session with the newest collection sunglasses of “Kwiat” and it will be radically different from everything that was made before from the company. “That is why we are searching for a person that will be identified to a great extent with the philosophy of “Kwiat” and with the plans for development of the company. The winner has to be with fashion detachment, to be a real star. At the same time our favorite has to be natural, intelligent, to be close to the people. As are the sunglasses of “Kwiat” actually!, all of the jury are unanimous. All members of the jury received a diploma from the president of “Kwiat” Pavel Tsvetkov.

WANTED A SCHOOL LEAVER WITH HOLLYWOOD BRILLIANCE

That is why she decided to provoke them with the competition “Shine with AIMS-G”, that will reveal entirely their celebrity detachment.

The only thing that the candidates have to make is to send their photo at aims_celebrity@mail.bg not later than 31 of May 2008. The brightest school leaver will receive a voucher at rate of 300 levs. And she will be photographed in AIMS-G Studio with clothes and accessories from the boutiques. Two consolatory prizes are provided - vouchers at rate of 150 levs.

YAMAMOTO'S PEACE PROJECT

The world known fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto is making a bid for peace with the launch of a new charitable initiative: the Yohji Yamamoto Fund for Peace.

The Japanese designer launched the fund with a catwalk show, subsequent cocktail party and fashion auction, to raise money for the venture. He hopes to improve Sino-Japanese relations by supporting aspiring young Chinese designers and models, both financially and personally.

Claire Danes has just signed up a contract to front Gucci's design house's fine jewellery. The company decided to change its former advertising face Dru Barimor whit the famous actress Claire Danes.

"Claire Danes is a modern icon and one of the most interesting young actresses on the international scene," Gucci's creative director, Frida Giannini, says of her newest face.

"Claire's sensual, confident beauty and her passionate, independent and strong character embodies today's Gucci woman."
