LADIES CAPTURED THE MEN'S TAILCOATS

* Short coats, straight trousers and pleat shirts for the Fall-Winter season

The elements of men's wardrobe invade the ladies' fashion in this year fall-winter season. Moreover the retro style is back which could be easily seen by corset arranged in feathers, plain black dress - Jacqueline Kennedy's style or the knee-long dress with naked shoulders - „balloon“ type.

The main accent on fashion stage is transformation of classic men's tailcoats into ladies' ones. This very accent was chosen by Evgenia Jivkova as a base of her newest collection for „Jeni style“ Fashion House. Her collection for Fall-Winter season of 2007/2008 is named „The Perfect Woman“. It includes straight trousers (cigarette type) or ones which are slightly cut out under the knee. Short taffeta suits are also trendy as well as coats in knee-length and some volume shaped around the hip. The key accent for the cold winter months are romantic shirts made by silk and chiffon ornate with plenty of ruches, ruffles and ribbons.

Another fashion elements typical for „perfect woman“ clothing are ruffles and draperies to skirts ans dresses; frills of elastic belts to suits; built-in frills to coats as well as optical effects such as „coat over coat“ and „double lapels“.

И през този сезон се запазва балонообразната форма на полите. The balloon-shaped skirts are trendy again. They are designed in knee- or calf-half lengths. The classic straight and taken in waist dress is varied by cuts, outer seams and crimps.
Flared skirts and dresses bring a romantic nuance. The waist part again is mostly high and highlighted by textile belts.

Colors for this fall-winter season are black, olive, brown, red, cyclamen. Materials are quite varied – different woolen cloths, jacquard, chiffon, boucle, satin, taffeta as well as bead cloths arranged with velvet and lace. Some of models are made by cordone materials. The textile design includes checked stripe and flowered cloths.
